little girl praying

There was a time I liked to dabble in computer based art.  This was just an experiment.  :)

at the beach

Here's something made on psp... I'm thinking 2003.  Gee I don't remember.  I like beach themes.   Funny... we never go to the beach.   The first time I saw the ocean was in North Carolina.  It was big and beautiful!!   Loved the crashing of the waves... seagulls flying just over head.   Hoping they wouldn't poop on me.  lol.
But there was something that I didn't like about that beach.  The smell of salty-fishy-air.  yeah.  I mean no.  And if I remember correctly.. there was junk floating around in the foam left upon the shore.   Not a clean place.    But it was a place that was kinda nice to visit.   Walking on the pier .... watching peeps go by.

Budget minded

My crafting has turned into budget crafting for different reasons.  One is to use up as many craft supplies that I have on hand.  I have little nooks and crannies where I stuff pieces of paper, buttons, shiny items (what are they called??) anyway you know what I mean.  Just so I don't go out and buy something I don't need.

There was a time I thought I just had to have stamps (wood, rubber, cling type) of flowers, whatever struck my fancy.   I still like to look.   And if its on sale I will buy.   My motto was  "stamps are like potato chips~you can't just have one."  Right?  Right.  ;)

Sometimes... I will look or browse the internet for images.  Mainly something 'free' to use on cards and such.   Well that got old.  So, I thought what would I like to find on the internet?   Cute images.  Something different.  Unique.   And basically that's how this site came about.   I needed images that were different.  A style that was unique.   My hubby had urged me to use my creative juices to come up with my own drawings.  I didn't actually think anyone would even want to use my artwork for their cards.   I have had some good responses in the past....  which you will find on my older website...  http://doodlepopdigis.wordpress.com

I cannot force anyone to use my digital images.  Nor would I want to.   There are tons of images out in the world... however, if you would like to use one of mine then that would please the peas out of me.  ;)    Leave a little bit of comments for me too.   Just an added reminder, please do not change the way my images look or add your name to them.  Do not sell.  Or keep in a collection on your site.   I would appreciate if you do like or plan on using my images.   Thank you.

big smiles, Mary

peepin' in to say

I sure appreciate visits to my blog.  thank you.  ;)
If you find an image you like don't be shy let me know!

I'll be peeping in and out getting things squared away on this blog.  Yea!

a little bit

Although my site doesn't have much to offer... it will in a bit.    My hubby showed me once before how to go about adding things I've made to my computer.    I'm gonna have to see if I can remember how to do this.

so bear with me.  ;o)

This was something I made using a ATC (artist trading card) and an HM image.   I used paper rosettes, designer paper, burlap pieces, wooden starfish and seahorse for accents.   Please do NOT use this photo or image.  Go to Paper Craft Planet for ideas !

Digital Stamps

you may have seen these stamps offered on my other site.  ;)    These are actual inked in drawings with the exception of the tree frog.   I hope you will enjoy!

Just another blog

Hi!   I would have called it Just another blog....  but the ones I liked were taken.   So I got to thinking what DO I want to do with my blog?    Thinking.     I like to draw.   Hmmmm.   I know Stamps.   Yeah.   That's it.    Digital stamps.

StamP ArounD The BloG  was born.

If you happened to stumble upon my blog even (if) by mistake...  it was a happy mistake!   Hope you come back again.

Ya know I've tried several different things before- Avon, Pampered Chef, making my own soy candles.    (I still enjoy making candles just make them for my family).    Soy wax is a bit expensive....  I still have lots of fragrance oils.    But I got to thinking.... I really enjoyed drawing.   Its what I enjoy most of all.    Oh like making greeting cards too.   A little bit here and there.     Nothing fancy mind you.    Anyway  enough rambling.....  on with the show~!

I wanted to make the point that I did create these images.   And they are for your own personal use.   Please don't sell or keep in a collection.   Please keep my name with the stamp.

I do appreciate you stopping by...  maybe leave a 'lil comment for me to enjoy.  :)
